Who Are We?

Legal Secretaries International Inc. has signed up nearly 800 members in 36 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, Russia, India, Argentina, and the Philippines, and has 14 active affiliate associations. Members are proud to endorse plain language and to use their influence in the law firms and departments to encourage its use.

1996 Resolution

Because there is a world wide movement to encourage lawyers to use Plain Language in legal documents; and Because it makes sense to do so; We the members.. Resolve to support the use of plain language in legal documents and to include this statement in our publications: "We support the use of plain language in legal documents."
